More people returned Logitech's Google TV box than actually purchased it in the first quarter.More people returned Logitech's Google TV box than actually purchased it in the first quarter.

Ouch, with news this bad it can only mean one thing... price drop! If you are so bold to purchase one of these boxes you'll only be paying $99 bucks as opposed to the $249 you would have originally had to spend. You'll learn to love the clunky interface and all it's complicated intricacies, that is unless your cable company hasn't blocked you from using it. Good luck!

Storm over Saturn makes for some pretty pictures.Storm over Saturn makes for some pretty pictures.

Behold pictures of Saturn's largest and most intense storm to date (larger photos on source site). Aren't they pretty? These images come from NASA's Cassini Spacecraft. The folks over at New Scientist state that the various colors represent different altitudes of clouds, not Saturn's overall mood and/or demeanor. As a sidenote: I made a similar picture the other day by accidentally mixing oil and water on the pavement.

Enjoy this collection of wild and in most cases ridiculously dangerous modes of travel. Maybe it's because I usually have video games on the brain but after seeing these pictures I really want to go play some Mario Kart.

Hubble manages to capture an overly blue view of Saturn.Hubble manages to capture an overly blue view of Saturn.

Aurorae result from charged solar wind particles trapped in a planet's magnetic field striking atoms in the upper atmosphere. Just like Northern Lights on Earth, Saturn sees similar polar light shows as a result.

In the town of Silver Lake, the unit told them to turn right on Forest Service Road 28, and they followed that and some spur roads nearly 35 miles before getting stuck in about 1 1/2 feet of snow near Thompson Reservoir, the sheriff said.

Not a bad idea at all. Officials hope this will help drivers fight off fatigue and make it home safe and sound. Other locations seem to be following suit, 7-11 (at least in Tuscon) is giving away free cups of joe as well.

Brown and colleagues first looked at the data using a digital filter they developed that reveals details only on the moon's surface. In the filtered images, the fog appears during the moon's late southern summer as bright, reddish-white patches hovering above the surfaces of lakes.

Want to know what Earth would look like if it had a ring system?Want to know what Earth would look like if it had a ring system?

Rings views from Earth's surface were created according to the location's latitude, northern or souther hemisphere, and the viewer's orientation. The size of the rings was calculated respecting the Roche limit for the Earth.

This bit of Google software might be just the reason why Apple decided to recently acquire their own little map company. Also, this can't be good news for the folks over at TomTom.

Its diameter is equivalent to 300 Saturns lined up side to side. And its entire volume can hold one billion Earths, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory said late Tuesday.

The shadows are stretched to bizarre lengths, just as earthly shadows are elongated right before sunset. And because the moons are in motion, the mini-eclipses slide across the rings like dark ghosts.
