The free coffee giveaway is an effort to raise awareness that we should all be ditching paper cups in favor of switching to a more reusable environmentally-friendly coffee container. This container would probably be a cylinder mug-like type of object - most likely a mug. More info (and a short flick) over here.

The 100 companies that made the final cut include first-time recipients Ford Motor Company, Adobe Systems and Campbell Soup. Google, Starbucks, General Electric and 33 other companies have appeared on the list for all four of its years.

You formerly had to pony up $2.95 to use wireless access at any of their fast food locations - but Ronald says no more! This latest move is marked effort to try and make each McDonald's location a 'destination' rather than you know, somewhere you go just for fast food.

- You just might be able to order a venti beer at your local Starbucks one day.
The new store is an attempt by the struggling coffee company to boost sales especially during evening hours, USA Today reported. If the first beer selling location in Seattle is successful, others will follow, a Starbucks source said.
