Sony engineers are toiling away on “a portable device that blurs distinctions among a netbook, an e-reader and a PlayStation Portable.” It will also knit in tightly with Sony’s iTunes-like media store, a marketplace for music, video and games set to debut later this month.

Buying either game will set you back just nine bucks a piece which isn't so bad when you consider what the Nintendo DS versions of these games are going for. A lot can be said for being able to use tactile buttons though.

The lack of Flash support for the iPad - and, for that matter, for the iPhone and iPod touch as well - is Apple's doing, not Adobe's. Adobe, for its part, has been eager to get Flash onto Apple's handhelds for quite some time.

I've just downloaded this and it's not too shabby overall. If you're like me and pop over to Engadget at least once a day this should save you some time (or waste time depending on how you look at it). Lastly, I find the iPhone app to be a little easier on the eyes than their current website design (yech).

It turns out that all of the thousand applications in question were actually from the same developer. The developer was trading promotional codes in exchange for five star reviews. Apple was none too pleased hence the swifty expulsion from the app store island.
