Google Fiber not coming to your neighborhood any time soon.Google Fiber not coming to your neighborhood any time soon.

Turns out that Google would need about $140 billion to roll out their fiber network to the entire continental United States. At present time, they only have about $45 billion in the bank and that doesn't begin to include other associative costs.  Long story short, if you really want to try out Google Fiber you should think about moving to Kansas.

Want to know just how speedy YouTube is in your area?Want to know just how speedy YouTube is in your area?

An interesting little page that I didn't know existed on YouTube's website. I'm quite surprised to see my ISP performing as well it does compared to the rest of the state of New York (or in some cases the rest of the country).

A collection of the world's ugliest buildings for you to gawk at.A collection of the world's ugliest buildings for you to gawk at.

Call me crazy, but I think the hand basket building is actually kind of cool rather than ugly as the article suggests. They make hand baskets after all - so the architecture works on a functional level.
