New world record for largest group of water skiers claimed over in Australia.New world record for largest group of water skiers claimed over in Australia.

It took a group of 114 water skiers to break the previous record of 100 water skiers all of which were towed by a single boat for the distance of one nautical mile. Apparently the group in question had been trying to break the previous record for quite some time. Congrats.

Some answers to some very common 3D television questions. Some answers to some very common 3D television questions.

Can I use my current TV? Um, no. You'll have to buy a new 3-D television. In fact, if you bought a 3-D-ready TV in recent years, you're not ready. You'll still need a Mitsubishi 3-DC-1000 converter box. The technology has evolved. The converter boxes run about $100.

Cinematic Titanic, the new feature-length movie riffing show from the creator and original cast of Mystery Science Theater 3000, continues the tradition of riffing on t he unfathomable, the horribly great, and the just plain 'cheesy' movies of the past.

Ah, the lost and forgotten art of the classic mix tape, the effect just doesn't seem to be the same with a burned CD or a USB stick. Also, high speed dubbing added a fun factor of plus one to the overall experience.

But artist Justin Gignac still sees stories even in the ubiquity, and is out to prove that with some clever package design, Manhattan’s refuse can be art. Gignac sells plastic cubes of trash from the Big Apple for $50 a pop.
