To say that I was a big fan of the first game is a bit of an understatement. I'll be buying this the day it comes out which of course has yet to be revealed (2010 is the only date thus far). LucasArts has a high resolution version of the trailer over on their site for those so inclined.

NASA said that not only are those the oldest galaxies ever seen, but the data that can be extracted from the image will provide 'insights into how galaxies grew in their formative years early in the universe's history.'

Their verdict? You should buy this game if you're a fan of the original exploits of Mario and Luigi as they romp through the Mushroom Kingdom. Ars calls it a 'magical experience' and they expect this be on the sales charts for a long time.
