The original punch line was 'exchange server is down' which got no laughs. Current punchline got a chuckle and was declared the winner.

- A couple of highlights from Arnold Schwarzenegger's commentary on the Total Recall DVD.
Normally I'm usually quite opposed to post anything from a Gawker-related media site (in this case the main Gawker.com site of all things) but this one was just too good to pass up. Watch the embedded video and you'll hear Arnold quip about some interesting points during the movie-making process that was Total Recall. Here is a great example: 'this scene is unbelievable because my frustration that this taxi cab does not understand where I want to go.'

- Engadget's thorough review of the brand new Kindle Fire tablet from Amazon.
Engadget covers everything here from the packaging to the performance of Amazon's first real entry into the tablet field. Engadget hails the device as quite an achievement at it's current price point ($200) but they do knock the device some by saying that it can't compete with 'normal' tablets that are currently on the market in some key factors.

- You may be charging your next Apple device a little differently according to latest rumors.
In yet another report of a report, the Wall Street Journal points to a rumor that Apple may be experimenting with charging via induction for their future iPhones. Makes sense, the new iOS software essentially cuts the cord in terms of syncing (of which I am very excited for) so it would be safe to assume that eventually they would want to cut the power cord as well.

- Google may have been accidentally snooping in on your wi-fi connections.
Let this be a lesson to you all to never leave a wi-fi network unsecured. The good news is that Google has agreed to stop collecting this data, at least for now.

- Cablevision, Time Warner and Comcast open up wi-fi to each other's customers.
This is very good news (and quite unexpected also) for customers of any of the aformentioned companies in the above headline. You can now take advantage of any of their wifi whilst traveling just so long as you are paying customer. Not too shabby, guys - not too shabby at all.

- This time around Apple says if your iPad battery fails, you get a brand new iPad.
Sure, it's a minor inconvenience when the battery in your Apple device won't hold a charge but in this case at least you'll be getting an entirely new device when and if it actually fails. The swap will set you back $99 bucks (plus shipping).

- It's probably not a smart idea to throw hot coffee at a parking enforcement official.
The next time you happen to witness the writing of a ticket on a vehicle you happen to own and find yourself agitated with coffee in hand - remember this little article. As it turns out, tossing a cup of hot liquid substance at a person of authority can in fact land you with an assault and battery charge. Who knew?
