Six human character flaws that actually managed to save the species.Basically every scientific or creative breakthrough in human history can trace its roots to some sweaty palmed caveman sitting alone in his hut fretting about whether the other cavemen think he's cool.

Over in China beach-goers are enjoying a healthy swim in algae-filled waters. An algae bloom, or 'green tide,' has clogged nearly 7,700 square miles (20,000 square kilometers) of the Yellow Sea, Chinese authorities said Sunday, according to the state-run media outlet Xinhua. The algae blanketing the beaches belongs to a species of marine plankton known as Enteromorpha prolifera, found in waters all around the world. In the right conditions, the algae can explode into so-called macro-algal blooms, Steve Morton, a marine biologist at the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), told National Geographic News in 2010.

No day is ever complete without a Star Wars a capella light saber battle and accompanying soundtrack. The fun begins about fifteen seconds in if you can't see the giant visual countdown over the video. In a rare instance I find myself agreeing with some of the YouTube comments. So yes, please make more of these and apply this effect to even better movies. Edit: spoke to soon, there is already a Matrix version out there.

Ten reasons why we hate Facebook as presented by puppet comedy duo Glove and Boots. And I now have a new favorite show on YouTube. My favorite part of this video probably has to be the gorilla shouting BLOG to start it all off (the origins of which can be traced back to their video called 'What is Blog?'). To view more of Glove and Boots follow along on their channel.
