New version of iOS starts appearing in developer logs.Developers have started noticing some curious entries in there log files regarding a new version of Apple's iOS operating system. The current version of iOS is six but references to iOS 7 are being found. Along with the new version of iOS a new iPhone hardware identifier has been unearthed as well. Look forward to iPhone 6 sometime in the near future.

You won't be seeing Siri on older iDevices anytime in the near future.That's a shame but it makes sense given Apple's strategy and history of making certain features exclusive to particular iPhone models. Not clear on why devices other than iPhones have to miss out on this. The iPad 2 should have enough horsepower to run Siri without an issue (same for their notebook line as well).

Nintendo shareholders would really like to see Mario on the iPhone, sooner than later.It's an interesting time these days for video game consoles. That is of course, if you happen to be a company called Nintendo. Nintendo's latest handheld has been officially declared as a flop (even by Nintendo itself) and the price has been reduced not long after release. The caliber of games you can find on the iPhone and iPad do rival what you can find on a Nintendo handheld - and at a much cheaper cost ($40 compared to often times $1-2). It should be interesting to see how this all plays out.

No day is ever complete without a Star Wars a capella light saber battle and accompanying soundtrack.The fun begins about fifteen seconds in if you can't see the giant visual countdown over the video. In a rare instance I find myself agreeing with some of the YouTube comments. So yes, please make more of these and apply this effect to even better movies. You may be charging your next Apple device a little differently according to latest rumors.In yet another report of a report, the Wall Street Journal points to a rumor that Apple may be experimenting with charging via induction for their future iPhones. Makes sense, the new iOS software essentially cuts the cord in terms of syncing (of which I am very excited for) so it would be safe to assume that eventually they would want to cut the power cord as well.

A report of a report says that Apple will introduce a thinner iPhone sometime this fall.Who knows what to believe these days. Perhaps Apple will pull the curtain on an iPhone 4S or an iPhone4GS (the 'G' standing for insanely great). Either way your current iPhone 4 will no longer be the coolest iPhone on the block. You should just throw it away right now. Go ahead, stop crying. You knew this day was coming.
