A neat tutorial on how to make your very own melted crayon art.
Going to have to try this out with my kids at some point in the near future. We have enough leftover crayons laying around the house to make several of these.

A handy tutorial on how to make your very own toast stencils.
Nothing starts the day like a healthy breakfast consisting of one or more the basic food groups. Stencils are not one of those basic food groups unless you consider 'fun' a food group. Still, who wouldn't want to have Pac-man toast for breakfast?

A quick tutorial on how to create checklists using Evernote.
Until quite recently all of my to-do lists were hand-written in a tattered marble covered notebook. I liked writing things down and enjoying that small feeling of achievement that comes with checking something off. That is, until I got too lazy to write them down. Enter Evernote, a free app for cataloguing whatever it is you want to catalogue. It's searchable, syncs with pretty much any computer or device, and best of all - free. Posting this here because I was not aware that you could search to-do lists via items that have gone unchecked. Awesome feature.

An awesome tutorial on how to build your very own Legend of Zelda treasure chest.
What makes tutorial even more awesome (thus turning the awesome knob up to eleven) is even covers how to rig up that distinct melody made when you actually open up the treasure chest. You'll need some rupees to purchase the obvious supplies needed to get started such as plywood, glue, and furniture nails. You'll also need to stock your own your own boomerangs, silver arrows, and heart containers.

A step by step tutorial regarding how to build your very own 8-bit centerpieces.
I have decided that I am going to make like twenty of these things and strategically place them all over my property. Recent studies have shown that Piranha Plants, in addition to making any backyard or home garden more attractive, also make for thicker grass. Recent studies have also shown an alarming increase in the number of fabricated studies.

A handy tutorial regarding how to fix broken form label clicks on the iPad's version of Safari.
Decided to post this here after reading a tweet from Dan Cederholm (of SimpleBits fame) and realizing this wasn't an issue isolated to me and me alone. Backstory: I wrestled with this issue for a good amount of time on a recently completed project and then decided to just give up making it work. Now, with a little bit of jQuery fun you can have your forms lables working as they should on your beloved iPad (and I can check off an item on my bug list).

A handy tutorial regarding how to make your very own mixtape flash drive.
Have a couple of old analog cassette tapes in the basement just laying around that you don't know what to do with? Why not bring them into this century's (or last depending on who you ask) technology by adding a hidden flash drive. Think of all the conversation starters this little gem will result in when you bust this out at the local coffee shop.

A handy tutorial on how to create your very own realistic soda bottle in Photoshop.
An interesting tutorial for those interested in dabbling with some photo-realistic effects from scratch. When all is said done you'll be way more familiar with the pen tool as well as the ancient art of dodging and burning. Now if you'll excuse me, I am in dire need of a cool glass of Crystal Pepsi.

Google may have been accidentally snooping in on your wi-fi connections.
Let this be a lesson to you all to never leave a wi-fi network unsecured. The good news is that Google has agreed to stop collecting this data, at least for now.

A handy tutorial on how to make your very own vinyl record bookends.
Another awesome quick four-step tutorial from the fine folks over at Instructables. Simply boil up some of your old vinyl records and bend them, mold them, shape them into retro bookends. Really, when you were going to listen to those old polka albums anyway?
