- Server Issues and GLM Updates.
Well, as you can see we've been having some server troubles as of late. I'm still trying to work out these issues as to avoid any further downtime. So in the meantime, if you happen to see a message that says 'SERVICE UNAVAILABLE' just know somewhere behind the scenes tiny lemmings are furiously trying to get the site back up and running.
I guess I can also take this post as an opportunity to give you all a GLM state of the union. The redesign from June turned out to be a mild success as GLM has enjoyed a small boost in general web traffic more so than we used to get before. The big news is that I'm hoping to have several new features incorporated into the site before the year is out. Some of them relate to user-generated content (you might be able to guess where thats going) while some of the updates pertain to brand new features (no, I'm not telling what they are).
So that's about it in a nutshell. Oh, I encourage everyone to use the 'Discuss' feature on every post - this place just seems to be too quiet. Help me liven it up with a little idle chatter. Cheers!

- Thanks Riley! In the near future GLM is going to open up so that anyone can submit a link. I''ll be getting back to work on that just as soon as I can fix these pesky server issues.

This absolutely made my day yesterday. I discovered a page on archive.org that had rare and unreleased tracks from one my favorite (and for the most part generally unknown) bands. Here is a link to said tracks for those who care.Stuff to do today:
- Research more methods on how to obtain sleep whilst parenting a child that does not like to sleep
- Commit to aggresive napping during strategic parts of the day
- Strategy is dumb and may lead to eventual work dismissal
- Continue researching new methods of data capture via strategically placed web tracking bus
- Translation: reverse engineer Google Analytics code snippet for fun
- More sleep is required to pull this one off

Recently I've taken a break from listening to music on my morning commute into the city. These days I'm all about playing Scramble (free app) on the good old iPhone. Passes the time quite nicely.Stuff to do today:

- Continue achievement hunting through Ghostbusters: The Video Game for Xbox 360
- Some of these achievements are just ridiculous
- Mini review of game: mildly enjoyable, lots of wasted potential, flat voice acting (looking at you Bill Murray)
- Find time to watch Termination: Salvation
- Mini review of movie: wasn't all that bad, quite predictable but not overly terrible

The text on the colorful invite simply says 'come see our latest creation'. Most of the major news sites (especially Fox News who claims they have a confirmation from an inside source) are convinced that the we will finally get a glimpse of the non-fabled tablet in the very near future.
