A neat tutorial on how to make your very own melted crayon art.Going to have to try this out with my kids at some point in the near future. We have enough leftover crayons laying around the house to make several of these.

Yahoo pulls the curtain back on a brand new version of their mail client.Definetly looking forward to giving this a whirl as I'm starting to grow weary of the GMail interface these days. Microsoft Outlook, which I use for work, is moderately simple yet has power features for people (such as myself) who are little overboard in terms of organization. I'd also like to point that GMail's labels versus folders paradigm does absolutely nothing for me. GMail looks like a stream of people shouting at me.

Adobe gives up on trying to get Flash to work on mobile devices. Our future work with Flash on mobile devices will be focused on enabling Flash developers to package native apps with Adobe AIR for all the major app stores. We will no longer adapt Flash Player for mobile devices to new browser, OS version or device configurations. Some of our source code licensees may opt to continue working on and releasing their own implementations.

A handy tutorial on how to make your very own toast stencils.Nothing starts the day like a healthy breakfast consisting of one or more the basic food groups. Stencils are not one of those basic food groups unless you consider 'fun' a food group. Still, who wouldn't want to have Pac-man toast for breakfast?

Begone memory leaks! Firefox 7 will reportedly use up to fifty percent less memory. If you leave Firefox running for any length of time its memory footprint seems to keep increasing. This can escalate to the point where it stops responding and there’s nothing to do but restart the browser. Personally, I’ve seen this problem have less of an impact during my daily usage since moving to Firefox 5, but it’s still there. Mozilla knows this problem exists and aims to fix it. By the time we see Firefox 7 available for download it will use as much as 50% less memory than any version that has gone before, as well as having those problematic memory leaks fixed.

A quick tutorial on how to create checklists using Evernote.Until quite recently all of my to-do lists were hand-written in a tattered marble covered notebook. I liked writing things down and enjoying that small feeling of achievement that comes with checking something off. That is, until I got too lazy to write them down. Enter Evernote, a free app for cataloguing whatever it is you want to catalogue. It's searchable, syncs with pretty much any computer or device, and best of all - free. Posting this here because I was not aware that you could search to-do lists via items that have gone unchecked. Awesome feature.

An awesome tutorial on how to build your very own Legend of Zelda treasure chest. What makes tutorial even more awesome (thus turning the awesome knob up to eleven) is even covers how to rig up that distinct melody made when you actually open up the treasure chest. You'll need some rupees to purchase the obvious supplies needed to get started such as plywood, glue, and furniture nails. You'll also need to stock your own your own boomerangs, silver arrows, and heart containers.

Sponsored tweets from companies you follow will be appearing more often in your Twitter timeline. If you use a Twitter and you happen to follow of lot of name brand companies you'll be seeing what that particular company has to say front and center. Sponsored tweets from said companies will appear at the top of your timeline and can be easily dismissed with a click. This seems like a good idea in theory, if I'm following a given company on Twitter one would think that what they have to say would be relevant to my interests (in theory of course). In theory you could also follow me on Twitter (@subwarm), and no - there will not be sponsored messages from me or GLM (not intentionally anyway).

You can watch some of the back and forth videos between Mustafa and Fabio over on Mashable. It's all in the delivery. Night vision top hat!
