Eleven mediocre television shows with awesome theme songs.Take a trip down memory lane and reminisce about the television shows you may have used to watch. The combination of DuckTales and Rescue Rangers still holds a special place in my heart (although not mentioned on said list). Hey, remember The Jets?

Panic takes a look at the magic behind the album art color schemes in iTunes 11.If you've used iTunes 11 you may have noticed the adaptive colors used in some of your favorite albums. Apple could have just displayed a thumbnail and used the same colors for text everywhere but instead chose to theme each album to go along with it's individual art. This kind of little touch is really what has always se Apple apart from the rest. The good folks at Panic delve into the kind of programming and logic that may have gone into this kind of display paradigm. It's a great read even if you aren't a developer but its an even greater read if you because they include sample code.

Apple selects the Best of 2012 awards from notable iTunes Store apps and games. For the first time in two years, no photography apps made it in to the top listings. 2012 also marks the first year that an Entertainment app was given an editor’s choice award. As always, during the end of the year wrap up Apple highlights games and apps from a wide variety of categories, so it’s well worth skimming the list for hidden gems.

Rumors swirling that Disney's Hollywood Studios will be getting a Radiator Springs makeover. While this news is by no means official it sounds like a formal announcement may be right around the corner. Full disclosure: I am a gigantic Disney nerd. My kids, by association, are also gigantic Disney nerds. But they also happen to be huge fans of the Cars movies. Ask us to recite any line and you'll hear the whole movie. The recently opened Cars Land in California has been met with postivive reviews from fans and non-fans of the franchise. Being that we reside on the East Coast, a trip to Florida is way more feasible than a trip out to California. Ka-chow!

Apple pulls the curtain back on iTunes 10.5.1 with iTunes Match.Unlike competing cloud storage music services from Amazon and Google, iTunes Match saves a lot of bandwidth and time in your initial synchronization, because Apple can identify which songs in your iTunes library are already available in the iTunes Store. If Apple can positively match a song in your library with any of the 20 million tracks for sale in the iTunes Store, it won’t bother uploading that song; only unmatched songs get uploaded to the cloud.

Guitar Hero franchise not quite dead yet, gets upgraded to mostly dead.It turns out there is still money to be made from selling plastic guitars and other assorted musical peripherals for console gaming. Activision Blizzard has stated that the franchise will indeed be making a return and that the experience will be reinvented, rebooted, retooled, whatever you want to call it. Hey Activision, please make sure that whatever you release at least works with my existing dusty plastic peripherals. Thanks.

Space Invaders headed to the big screen because movie-goers seem to like things from the Eighties.Given that brand equity and the track record for other films based on ’80s properties, like Transformers, the idea of a Space Invaders movie has been around for a while. Last March, the L.A. Times reported that Warner Bros. was negotiating with Space Invaders owner Taito about a movie. Additionally, di Bonaventura has brought toy properties to the big screen. He is one of the producers of the Transformers films as well as G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra.
