- Top ten unanswered questions from certain geeky movies.
This light-speed jump takes a split-second, but now they have to wait minutes so they can clear the planet. Not only that, but the Death Star is capable of blowing up entire planets, not just moons, so why don’t they just blow up the entire planet of Yavin?

- A handy tutorial on how to obtain free movie tickets.
There are some interesting methods listed here that you can use to try and score some free movie tickets. Some methods may take longer than others (ie becoming a film critic and/or getting a job at said movie theater). Good luck.

- The top eleven signs that a geek probably made your lunch.
'11. It's served to you by a roomba.' The possibility of having lunch (or any meal) served via Roomba gets my inner geek juices flowing. Plus, if any of it spills along the way it will most likely be cleaned up on the next cleaning voyage.

- Sorry, DVD version of Avatar won't contain any 3-D effects from the theaters.
FOX would like you to keep going to the theaters to get the full experience of Avatar rather than have it recreated poorly in your living room. Also, Rupert Murdoch would really like to see a sequel.

- Sixty-four things that every geek should probably know about.
Covers a variety of geeky items and topics you can use in everyday settings. Of course, these topics are ideal for settings such as identifying a keylogger, surviving a Linux argument, and even hotwiring a car.

- Ten things missing from the newly released Apple iPad.
Don't worry, I'm sure all of these issues will be resolved by the next revision of the iPad. FYI, you may be seeing more iPad stories on GeekLikeMe as I have been out of touch for the past few days and sort of missed iPad mania.

- Weird Al to direct his first feature film for Cartoon Network.
Not many details yet but congrats to Al on this new gig. Fun fact: two members of my immediate family can still recite the lyrics from 'Dare to be Stupid' from memory. Bonus fact: we are both over the age of thirty.

- Wired would like to let you know just what to expect from Apple's tablet unveiling.
At tomorrow's Apple media event you will probably see the unveiling of a tablet-like device of some kind, most likely a tablet. That's just my guess. I'm not an authority on the subject by any means.

- IMAX wants to make sure they have a plan for life after 'Avatar'.
Worried about the future of IMAX? Don't worry, they've got a plan. More theaters, more partnerships and more access to your living room (thanks in part to the 3D channel coming soon from Sony, Discovery and yes, IMAX).

- New York Times takes a peek at Netflix queues around the country.
A great visualization with some interesting data as to the kind of Netflix patterns from different metropolitan areas. Everyone seems to love The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Cadillac Records - not so much.

- Looks like we'll be seeing John Malkovich versus Peter Parker for Spider-Man 4.
Interesting choice of casting for a Spider-Man villian. That is of course, if the movie manages to see the light of day (script and production issues have been plaguing the project according to rumors). Oh well, it can't be any worse than Spider-Man 3... can it?
