- Latest version of Nikon Coolpix camera doubles as digital projector.
...images were sharp when projected on a blank white surface about a foot away from the camera. The projector still produced visible images when projected onto a wall about 10 feet away, but they were (understandably) much less sharp and bright.

- Have a peek at some near-final screenshots of the Windows Phone 7 interface.
I find parts of this user interface to be very depressing (granted it's not final but near-final sounds like their pretty close). The data entry screens are bland, colorless, and lifeless. Almost as if you're signing a death warrant on someone when you want to add them as a contact. Not very inviting.

- Borders joins the e-reader party, taking pre-orders for Kobu device.
Let's see - so now we have a Kindle, a Nook, an iPad, and a Kobu. I'll admit that I see many a Kindle on the morning commute into Manhattan and I've spotted the Nook on the subway just once in my travels. I'll also admit that the name Kobu sounds like something you'd eat for dinner.

- Ten cool gadgets you can't buy in the United States just yet.
This particular list is rife with iPad and iPhone alternatives (all of which seem to be running some flavor of Android). The two lone and notable exceptions in my opinion seem to be this tiny camera, pictured in thumbnail to the left, and the ever peculiar Ant Watch (fifth slide in).

- Season finale of House filmed entirely via a Canon 5D Mark II digital camera.
This is quite an endorsement for Canon, with a network giant entrusting the finale of one of its most popular shows to the 5D Mark II (which happens to be the first digital camera to take the Presidential portrait as well).

- Best Buy now selling that Barnes and Noble Nook e-reader.
This should certainly ramp up the potential exposure that The Nook receives with these added purchase locations. Although, I'm not sure if it will really help as most Best Buy locations are also selling Apple's iPad. Side by side, The Nook looks a little shabby at it's current price tag.

- Some answers to some very common 3D television questions.
Can I use my current TV? Um, no. You'll have to buy a new 3-D television. In fact, if you bought a 3-D-ready TV in recent years, you're not ready. You'll still need a Mitsubishi 3-DC-1000 converter box. The technology has evolved. The converter boxes run about $100.

- Amazon to start working on a better web browsing experience for the Kindle.
Engineers are hard at work, or will be hard at work once the position is filled, to bring you a richer web browsing experience on your beloved Kindle device. Maybe you'll even get to see some media (like images) when all is said and done. Images on the web, what a concept!

- Sony to start selling 3D-capable televisions starting this June.
Included are two pairs of Sony's 3-D glasses, as well as a camera sensor on each unit that will adjust sound and picture quality based on viewers' positions. A remote control button enables the switch from a regular 2-D image to 3-D.

- Turns out that Microsoft has a secret phone waiting for use with Verizon's network.
The phone is dubbed as 'Project Pink' (but may just end up being called 'Pink') and runs the brand new Windows Phone 7 mobile operating system. Verizon is most likely the exclusive carrier.
