In a report set for release today, RampRate founder Tony Greenberg estimates that YouTube will lose just $174 million -- 63% less than the $470 million loss forecast last April by investment bank Credit Suisse. The bank estimates YouTube's revenue at $240 million.

Once the world's largest online social network, MySpace has struggled to compete with the rapid user growth of rivals Facebook and Twitter. Usership and average time spent on the Web site have decreased over the past several months.
